Bupropion is a drug used to treat depression and certain other disorders. It is also used to help people stop smoking. If you plan to discontinue medication(s) for your mental health, I recommend that you slowly decrease the dose of your medication(s) before stopping to minimize the risk of discontinuation syndrome and relapse of depression and/or anxiety symptoms.
