Women face the greatest barriers to accessible and affordable healthcare. Our healthcare system is broken, and Hello Alpha is here with a better solution. Alpha was formed with the goal of providing access to care for some of the country’s most common, underserved, and undertreated medical needs.

Our Hello Alpha Leaders

Gloria Lau

Co-founder & CEO

Gloria Lau is the cofounder and CEO of Hello Alpha, with a mission to improve access to women’s healthcare needs. She has over a decade of experience in data science and machine learning, ranging from small startups to public companies like Linkedin and Google. She is a consulting faculty at Stanford Engineering. She has an MS and PhD from Stanford, and a BS from UCLA.

Mary Jacobson, MD

Medical Affairs Officer

Mary Jacobson, MD, fondly known as Dr. J, is the Medical Affairs Officer. She is an accomplished academic, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and minimally invasive surgeon with extensive experience in clinical care, medical education, hospital operations, and research who is currently changing organizations with the goal of changing the world by applying experience in women’s health and entrepreneurial and social innovation skills towards development of blue ocean ideas about patient-centered care and physician work-life balance.

Loni Belyea, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Belyea is a triple board-certified physician with a distinguished career in internal medicine, geriatrics, and obesity medicine. She is passionate about leveraging technology to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare to women. As Hello Alpha's Chief Medical Officer, she is committed to enhancing patient care and expanding service offerings.

Hello Alpha's providers are board-certified medical professionals (MD's, DO's, NPs and PA's) along with nurses as part of your care team. All of our providers have a variety of backgrounds and expertise.

Hello Alpha provides whole-person care through a team of licensed primary care providers (PCPs) who are trained in women's health. Patients work with a dedicated PCP who provides personalized care and treatment at each visit.
